Swallow greenhouses are traditionally built using redwood pine, these quality greenhouses are exceptionally well priced and packed with features you would expect to pay extra for. Large pane toughened glass is standard and each roof vent is supplied with an automatic opener. Full length staging down one side is also included and the door has a mortise lock and key with aluminium handles. All the timber is green tint tanalised pressure treated and comes with a 10yr guarantee, the glazing is slid into grooves and sealed with a quality silicone. A 20mm black PVC damp barrier is fixed under the framework and there are 12mm thick 390mm long tongue and groove boards all around. Also included with every greenhouse is delivery and installation by Swallow, when you put all these features together the price is fantastic value for money for a building which does not compromise on quality. We are not aware of any other manufacturer that will deliver and install a lean to! Photo's show a 6'-8" x 8'-4" with staging infill and gutter system, the door can be positioned on either end, Swallow will contact you to confirm which you require.

A 4ft staging infill, which continues the included staging (as photo) is available.

A full length gutter and downpipe system is available.

A high shelf down one side is available, similar to the staging but narrower, ideal for storing those little things out of the way.

Installation is carried out by Swallow trained fitters, be aware that Swallow require the base area to be prepared before delivery, Swallow will contact you and discuss any issue including delaying delivery to wait for base preparation. Swallow greenhouses can not go straight onto soil, a paving slab or concrete surround/pad will need to be layed first.

New for 2013 is the option to pay after your greenhouse has been delivered and installed to your satisfaction, we have arranged this unique option with Swallow at no extra cost to yourselves.

What other manufacturer lets you pay for your greenhouse after they have delivered and installed it? How about that for standing by your product!

You can of course still pay the traditional upfront way using any of our checkout options.

Painted Finish Options

Below we have examples of the 4 different paint finishes on offer.
Swallow have their own spraybooth facility, the advantage of Swallow painting your greenhouse is that the painting is undertaken before glazing which leaves a seamless finish.
The highest quality water borne acrylic protective paint is used, which has a flexible microporous protective film. This means it is resistant to bacterial mould and UV attack.
Any staging or shelf ordered will come painted to match also.

Due to extra coats of paint to get the required finish Lily is a more expensive option.

Ordering Advice

Here is a quick guide to your order process, we understand for some people who have not ordered a greenhouse before that some of the greenhouse terms may seem a little alien, here are a few hints.

Don't worry if you make a mistake, all our orders are manually checked by an experienced fitter, who will be able to see if there are any parts of your order that do not go together, we pride ourselves on our experience and you can be safe in the knowledge that you are buying from people who know their products.We only sell greenhouses! you are not buying from a company that sells hundreds of products with staff that have not got a clue what you are talking about.If we see a problem we will contact you and get it changed.

Our aim is to maintain our position as one of the premier suppliers of Swallow greenhouses, and to meet that end we strive to make your order process as easy and hassle free as possible!

Base Area
Swallow greenhouses are supplied and delivered direct from the manufacturer, all greenhouses are then installed free of charge on your prepared base area.
Your base will need to be ready before Swallow arrive, each individual greenhouse has the exact dimensions on its own page, this is the outer area of the greenhouse bottom and so is the minimum dimensions needed. The base area can be made of many materials such as slabs/cement/decking etc but must be firm and level.

Access
Please be aware that your greenhouse will arrive in pre built sections, think about how you would get an 8ft x 8ft flat wooden panel to the desired location? if you can see any problems then let us know (if we know in advance we can usually get around all access issues)

Extras
Swallow greenhouses come supplied with most of the extras (staging and autovents) that customers usually require, but there are some very useful extras that might make your greenhouse suit your needs.
High Shelf - Great for keeping your tools,pots etc on.
2nd Side of Staging - Need more work space?
Guttering - Don't waste all that water that will come off your roof!
Benches - Versatile work area's that can be easily moved around.
Combination Shed - Want a shed built on to the end of your greenhouse?

After You Have Ordered

So you have ordered your greenhouse and are wondering what happens next?

Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation via email, this will have your order number and order details.

We review your order
One of our experienced team will check your order, we like to ensure everything is going to go to plan with your order and if we have not already spoken, will give you a quick call within 24 hours. This is just so we can check everything is as it should be regarding base and access, and to address any concerns you may have before we process the order with Swallow. If you don't wish us to ring then please mention in the comments box when checking out if your base area will be ready and that access is OK.

Paying via cheque or bank transfer
We will send you an email when we have received payment.

Delivery
See our delivery page for the latest delivery time updates, you will receive a phone call (give the best number for contact when ordering) from Swallow within 2 weeks to arrange delivery with you (assuming delivery time is normal 15 working days). We like to make sure you are getting the best possible service and are kept up to date, so if you find yourselves going in to the 3rd week from order with no contact we encourage you to let us know and we will follow up on your behalf.
If you are taking advantage of the new "PAY AFTER INSTALLATION" option, then you will need to pay Swallow when your greenhouse has been installed.
